Natalie + Sam

Chartiers Township Community Center Wedding

I was referred to Natalie & Sam by Natalie’s best friend Britta, whose wedding I shot in April.  These two are super cute and down-to-earth, with just a twist of nerdiness built in.

My second shooter for the day was Charlene of Custom Portraits by Charlene.  She and I started the day at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church where we grabbed some shots of the wedding party getting dressed.

Natalie’s sisters were two of the bridesmaids and they were hilarious…they had me in tears laughing at a few points during the day.

Natalie’s niece was the flower girl and she was super excited once she got her dress on and her hair fixed.  She spent about 15 minutes in front of the mirror, making faces and twirling around.

Charlene was grabbing some photos of the boys while the girls got ready.

She marched down the aisle with attitude!  She was cute and she knew it!  LOL!

Remember that I mentioned that touch of nerdiness?  Well, it’s a good thing because they entered the reception to an archway of light sabers, Star Wars style!  How fun!!

The speeches given by the best man and Sam’s grandfather were both funny and touching.

The only other Star Wars touch to the wedding was the cake topper.  So awesome!

Natalie’s grandfather was cutting a rug on the dance floor all evening! The dance floor was rocking all night long!

There’s a cute little wooden outlook on the property at the community center that we took photos at.  This was smack in the middle of cicada season so we were ducking for cover constantly.  Ew!  It made for some hilarious photos though!

The girls had the idea to pretend to swat at the cicadas but then SURPRISE! they actually got swarmed.

These two are so sweet and were in their own little world during their photos.

Thanks Natalie & Sam for choosing me to do your photos!
