Hooversville, PA Wedding
Heather & Ben
Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer
Heather and Ben are a low-key, quiet couple who love the outdoors and their two black lab pups. They got married up in the mountains of rural Pennsylvania at the house that her dad is building. I grew up in the mountains of PA, so this wedding was a little nostalgic for me. There’s something about being out in the middle of nowhere and looking around and seeing nothing but mountains. 🙂
I arrived as Heather was getting her hair and makeup done and took some detail shots. Her Rebecca Schoneveld dress was simply stunning!
Heather wore her mom’s veil, which was a super special touch.
While the ladies were getting ready, Ben and the groomsmen were finishing up the set-up outside. Heather occasionally called down to give directions. LOL
Their pups were the ring bearer and flower girl. Kimber is such a handsome boy.
Dixie loves giving momma kisses!
The ceremony was set up out on the lawn, with a gorgeous view of the mountains in the background. The leaves had even started to change so we had some fall colors.
A few minutes into the ceremony, the pups started talking to each other. It gave everyone a chuckle. Props the the officiant, who they were trying to upstage.
This is the view from the back of her dad’s house. It’s so breathtaking…mountains as far as the eye can see.
The couple even incorporated their pups into their cake topper. Isn’t this adorable?
Their favors were trees that the guests could take home and plant.
Confession: I bawled almost the whole way through Heather’s dance with her Dad. They danced to Alan Jackson’s “Drive” and it was just so perfect for the two of them.
