Sarah and Sean were married at Four Seasons Banquet House on a September day with absolutely PERFECT weather!  This fun couple met when they were both working to open a restaurant up.  They have a shared love of concerts, nature and their pups.  Sean proposed last Christmas through a series of Harry Potter gifts.  🙂

The day started out at Sarah’s childhood home where she and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done and got dressed.  I was in love with Sarah’s Maggie Sottero wedding dress…it was perfect for a free spirit like her, and the flower crown she wore finished her look off perfectly!

To add to the excitement of the day, one of the bridesmaids locked her keys in her car…with her dress!  So while we took a few photos of the girls outside in the yard, we had a little side show of the police and AAA trying to get into her car, LOL.

The girls piled into a van and were escorted by Sarah’s uncle to the Four Seasons Banquet House for the ceremony and reception.  The grounds of the venue are beautiful and made for a picturesque day.  The yard was decorated with beautifully with fall florals, and on the grass at each row of chairs were rocks with hand-written messages that ladies had written to Sarah and Sean for her bridal shower…super sweet and a lovely personal touch.

The wedding ceremony at the Four Seasons Banquet House was very sweet.  The couple did a rope ceremony, in which each parent placed a different colored cord over their hands and then Sean’s father tied them together.  After the couple recited vows that they had written for each other, they were pronounced husband and wife.

While the guests headed inside for cocktail hour, we spent some time outside doing portraits.  Sarah and Sean couldn’t have had a more awesome group of people standing beside them for their special day…they were all fantastic!

The wedding party was then introduced and we enjoyed speeches from the maid of honor and best man, as well as an Irish blessing from one of the bridesmaids before dinner.

After dinner, it was time for cake (how cool is the caketopper that was made by one of Sarah’s bridesmaids?) and dancing.

This was such a fun wedding.  Sarah and Sean are truly a wonderful couple and they were surrounded by lots of people who love them.
