Mark and Jocelyn’s wedding kicked off my 2018 wedding season with a fantastic day.
We started the day at St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis where Jocelyn, her daughter Lily and her bridesmaids got ready.
The Lydia’s flower shop did an amazing job incorporating these dog tags that belonged to Jocelyn’s grandfather. What a lovely way to honor a loved one.
Mark & Jocelyn’s little girl Lily was definitely the star of the day! She is such a doll, and she was so excited to go to “her party!”
After the ceremony, we headed to Robin Hill Park for bridal party portraits. This was a fun group to work with…they kept us laughing!
One of my favorite things to have the ladies do is say “Now look at each other and fake laugh.” It never fails to get genuine laughter because it’s such a ridiculous thing to do. Here the ladies couldn’t stop laughing at the maid of honor.
The reception was held in the Balconade Room at The Fez. This venue has such pretty lighting…I love shooting there!
After dinner, the dancing began and this crowd knew how to have some fun! They kept me laughing all night!
Many congratulations to Mark & Jocelyn (and Lily!) on your wedding! I’m so happy you chose me to document your special day and that I’ve gotten to form a friendship with you!
