Alpha & Eric’s wedding was held on her family’s farm in New Bethlehem, PA. It was overcast and drizzled most of the day, but that didn’t stop them from celebrating with their friends and family!
New Bethlehem Wedding Photos
There were so many gorgeous spots for photos on this property that I just didn’t know where to start! I love a good outside dress shot, though, so I decided that was a good jumping off point.
The couple celebrated Eric’s Chinese heritage with details such as this amazing train that Alpha’s aunt hand-stitched!
She also made the outfits that the ring bearer and flower girl wore. The detail on them was stunning!
Alpha’s sister made a foot bath for her and the bridesmaids to help with swollen feet as they were getting ready. She also failed to warn her how cold the water was!
The morning was very calm and relaxing, spent with friends and family. Neither Alpha nor Eric had any nerves, only excitement.
Alpha wore a beautiful Aquamarine jewelry set of her mothers. It was so unique!
The bouquets that the girls carried were made from flowers from the gardens on the farm. The bridesmaids put them together just minutes before the ceremony.
My associate shooter for the day was the awesome Rachel from Lovas Photos. She met they guys at a local cabin to get some shots of them before they headed over to the farm.
When you have the opportunity to pose with a Sasquatch for your wedding photos…you do it!
We had a little time before Alpha & Eric had their first look so we grabbed a few photos of her and her bridesmaids. How sweet is this shot of her and the flower girl sharing a squeeze?
The decal on the window means “Double Happiness.” So appropriate for their wedding day!
First Look Photos
This was one of the sweetest first looks I’ve ever photographed. Not only did they get to share a few moments before the craziness started, but they recited their vows to each other for the first time.
The ceremony was held in the garden on the farm. It started drizzling just in time for Alpha’s dad to escort her down the aisle.
The excitement on Alpha & Eric’s faces throughout the ceremony was contagious. They were so happy that their smiles practically split their faces in half.
Once we finished up with family photos, we went back to the flower garden for some photos with the bridal party. They were good sports and got a little silly for me on camera.
I love that Alpha’s bridesmaids all wore dresses of their choice. Alpha told them to “buy something in the coral to red family.”
We sent the bridal party up the hill to the reception (no, seriously, the reception tent was set up at the top of the property!) and we did some shots of just Alpha & Eric. Rachel and I loved the backdrops of the sheds and barns!
Wedding Reception in New Bethlehem
When Eric & Alpha went on their first date, they discovered that they each kept a kite in the trunk of their car because “you never know when you’ll have the perfect wind.” So it was really cute that the tent at the reception was decorated with kite tails!
Alpha & Eric’s wedding was a day full of love and laughter…and spectacular views!
